Practising accountant since 1986 with considerable experience across a wide range of sectors, Andy joined Duns in 2000 and became a director in 2009. His expertise in financial modelling of proposed business opportunities, optimising business structures, and the impact of income tax and GST translate into a forward-looking approach when working with clients. Andy works for the client first and foremost. His style is of a collaborative nature, consulting with other professional advisers where the experience of others may be of benefit. Getting to the core of what makes a business tick, his ability to gauge future performance and compile projections has a positive impact on its future success. Andy appreciates the team environment at Duns and the ability of senior members to offer leadership in professional standards, work ethic, relationships and managing expectations. Andy has also advised charitable and non-profit organisations on accounting matters, and is Secretary of a Statutory Research Trust.
