Daniel joined Duns in 2016 while completing his final year of study at the University of Canterbury and has since progressed to become one of the firm’s Directors.
Daniel is passionate about helping business owners understand what drives performance and turning that insight into practical strategies for growth and success. He enjoys getting to know how businesses operate, identifying key performance measures, and working alongside clients to achieve their goals. His client base spans a diverse range of industries, giving him broad commercial experience and perspective.
Over his career, Daniel has developed expertise in business valuations, financial forecasting, software integrations, and the application of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). He particularly enjoys helping clients use technology and financial information to make informed decisions and achieve their long-term objectives.
Outside of his client work, Daniel is actively involved with several charitable organisations and enjoys contributing his skills and experience to support community initiatives throughout Canterbury.
Away from the office, Daniel enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, following a wide range of sports, and staying actively involved in the local sporting community. On any given Saturday, you’ll likely find him on a cricket pitch or football field.
